Having got your your holiday property advertised on the UK Cottage Rental website, the next step is to try to increase it's lure to web-visitors. There are two main approaches:
On page: Go back to your advert page and reread it. Make sure it looks good and get a second opinion from another pair of eyes.
Ensure that the first photo is a good exterior shot of the property. The next photos should be neat and informative and taken, preferably, in good, sunny day light.
Please try to list your availability and prices for these weeks. Do use an online web calendar eg http://www.dateblocker.com (free) - a link to this can also be created from any other web pages you use. This saves viewers a lot of frustration.
Off page: It's all about getting other website's to link to your page here. Also the link should contain keywords eg. "holiday cottage in Ambleside" rather than "Rose cottage".
Add weblinks to your own property website, your work site, your family site, school site, other sites which advertise your property.....keep going...
For help creating links see http://www.uk-cottage-rental.co.uk/page-promoting-your-page-26.html
The more incoming links you get, the better your advert page will rank in the search engines. This is the best way to get your property seen by people!
