Description of accommodation:

The Sands is furnished to a high standard with decor and soft furnishings which reflect its coastal  location. There are also some beautiful and original marine-themed artworks.

There is off street parking for 1 car and parking outside the property for another. The property is situated on a quiet 'no through road'.

There is a garden at the front and another enclosed garden at the back with a covered eating area and spectacular and ever-changing views across open countryside to the Cheviot Hills.

Internally the design is open plan. The kitchen comes with full cooking facilities and a fridge freezer. There is also a washing machine.

There is Freeview tv and a dvd player with a small selection of dvds. There is also a DAB radio.

The property is heated with electric panel heaters. There are additional portable heaters for added warmth if required. All bedding linen is provided as are towels.

Easy access to the local beach (5 min walk away), the village shop (5 mins), 2 village pubs and the Village Pantry cafe.

Just 2 miles from the fishing town of Seahouses which offers a wider range of shops, pubs and restaurants. The market town of Alnwick (with its spectacular castle) is just 12 miles away. From Beadnell you are within touching distance of the wild and remote Northumbrian countryside enriched with local heritage - ancient castles and battle sites abound. The Northumbrian coastline is amongst the most unspoilt in Europe.

Info: Sands Cottage is a Northuumbrian Coastal retreat in the fishing village of Beadnell.

It sleeps 4 and is very well appointed. Previous guests have commented on the homely touches that make it stand apart from other holiday lets at which they have stayed. There are some stunning views across open countryside to the Cheviot Hills.

It has easy access to two wonderfully tranquil beaches and the wild Northumbrian countryside. There are beautiful coastal walks which start the second you set foot outside the cottage. by car you can easily reach Bamburgh Castle (5 miles), Seahouses (2 miles) from where you can catch a boat to the Farne Islands, Alnwick (Castle) 12 miles, and further afield Berwick, Morpeth, Coldstream, Chillingham Castle and the Northumbrian National Park.

Beadnell has two pubs (the Beadnell Towers serves excellent meals), a village shop and cafe. Seahouses offers a wider range of pubs, local eateries and shops.
