The surrounding hills make excellent walking and cycling country, whilst an easy 1 mile stroll will take you into the bustling market town of Hawes. Description of accommodation: The accommodation sleeps 4 people. It is fully centrally heated and has an electric fire for extra heat on unseasonal chilly evenings.There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed, the other with twin beds. There is an upstairs bathroom with wc and sink. The downstairs bathroom has a shower, sink and wc. The stairs to the second floor are fairly steep as they are part of the original cottage.The well equipped kitchen has a washing machine/dryer,cooker, fridge, microwave and ample cooking utensils. The separate lounge has TV, video, radio and CD player with games and books for rainy days!Outside there is a lockable secure shed which can take up to 4 cycles. It also houses the rotary dryer which can be used in summer. There is always ample Safe Parking either in the shared courtyard or within easy reach of the cottage. Nearby Attractions: Nestled in the hamlet of Burtersett in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, on the path of the Pennine Way, Herriott Way and Ribble Way, this cottage is ideal for walkers, cyclists and sightseers. Approximately 1 mile away from the busy market town of Hawes, it is the home of Wallace & Grommit, the Wensleydale Dairy,the Aysgarth Falls and many other attractions. Within easy travelling distance are the towns of York and Harrogate and less than 1 hour's drive away is the Lake District. Travelling on the local buses and the Wensleydale Railway are particularly interesting ways of enjoying this part of the country. Pricing Structure:
