Property overview: Situated in the Dean Village, close to the Water of Leith walkway, this modern maisonette offers plenty of space and makes a wonderful base from which to explore Edinburgh.  Most of Edinburgh's major sights are within pleasant walking distance and this is a quiet residental district - an ideal spot for a family holiday. For most of the year we offer a minimum two night stay.
Description of accommodation: The apartment is approached by an outside wooden stair and has the benefit of garage parking just opposite.   The ground floor offers a large living/diningroom with a kitchen off.  This is a lovely light room with two seating areas which have attractive views over the Water of Leith and the Dean Village.      An attractive glass dining table seats up to 6 people comfortably and the kitchen has an oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge freezer, plus ample cooking utensils and crockery. A utility room on the same floor provides a washer drier.  There is one ground floor double bedroom with good cupbaord space and a shower room just next door.Upstairs there is a lovely large bedroom which has just been redecorated. It has a king sized bed and ensuite bathroom, with shower, bath and toilet. On the same floor there is also a single bedroom and a third bathroom.
Nearby Attractions: Edinburgh offers a host of attractions.  Visitors can explore the Vennels of Edinburgh's Old Town from the Castle to Holyrood Palace on the Royal Mile or the grandeur of the Georgian New Town.  Exploring the City by walking along the Water of Leith is an attractive proposition - The Dean Gallery and the Modern Art Gallery are a short walk away from the apartment.  Visitors might like to walk along the Water of Leith to Stockbridge which offers an array of shops bars and resaurants or proceed a little further along to the beautiful Botanic Gardens. Edinburgh is also an ideal base for exploring the rest of Scotland and should you bring a car Fife, East Lothian, the Borders and Perthshire are all within an easy drive making a pleasant day trip.
