For those wanting a more leisurely holiday there are pretty villages to explore and attractive pubs. Lymington and Christchurch are close and are centres for sailing. Barton boasts an excellent cliff top golf course and there are many other excellent courses within easy driving distance both within the New Forest and along the coast towards Bournemouth. The towns of Beaulieu, Christchurch, Lymington and Lyndhurst are close by and have their historical interest. The gardens of Exebury and Broadlands are also within easy reach. For shopping and other leisure activities, the towns of Southampton and Bournemouth can be reached easily by car or train (both are only 15 miles away). There are plenty of restaurants and pubs in the area. The nearest is 150 metres from the apartment, on the cliff top. Within easy walking distance there is a newsagent and a convenience store. New Milton is the main shopping centre where a large out of town Tesco's can be found.
