Nearby Attractions: Clarencefield village has its own castle: Comlongon Castle; its own 16th Century Coaching Inn: the Farmers Inn; an  ancient (8th Century), 18 ft preaching cross in the local parish church.  The village is surrounded by lovely wooded walks.  Within 7 miles are Dalton Pottery, Robbie Burns Brow Well, Caerlaverock Castle and Bird Reserve, and Drummuir Farm producers of award winning Scottish Dairy Ice Cream.
