Property overview: Barn Cottage, as all of the properties, has beamed ceilings throughout and offers a comfortable and relaxed home-from-home atmosphere. It is an 'upside down' cottage with the open plan lounge/kitchen on the first floor, and the two bedrooms on the ground floor. The cottage is ideal for families; it sleeps four having a double bedroom and a second bedroom with bunk beds.

There is an on-site laundry room with a washing machine and tumble dryer; there is also a freezer for guests' use and a payphone. Well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Nearby Attractions: Tresarran is the ideal base from which to enjoy a whole range of interesting events takling place at all times of the year, from the internationally renowned Daphne du Maurier Festival of Arts and Literature to the spectacular Eden Project and the fascinating Lost Gardens of Heligan - there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The Monkey Sanctuary at Looe is only a 15 minute drive from Herodsfoot, and for the more active visitor, Sibleyback Lake with its Watersports Centre offers windsurfing, sailing and canoeing. There is a tearoom and there are some lovely walks around the lake.
Herodsfoot is a wonderful area for walkers, including a six mile walk from your door at Tresarran down the West Looe river into Looe. The owners have written up directions for their favourite walks and copies are available in the cottages.
