Property overview: Located on a tiny cobbled street, Cooks View is a restored Georgian Cottage tucked away in the heart of Whitby Old Town, overlooking the famous Captain James Cook Museum.
Description of accommodation: Whilst Cook's View has been renovated to a high standard and offers guests all the conveniences of modern day living, the layout of the building is unconventional due to the building's age, therefore, a stay at Cook's View may not be appropriate for people with mobility problems. Spread over four floors the first of the bedrooms is accessed by taking the stairs down to the basement level where a twin bedded room can be found. Then take the panelled staircase upto the ground floor where a large kitchen/diner and living room can be found. The first floor is where the second of the twin bedrooms with en-suite shower, and the house bathroom is located. At the top of the house in the beamed loft is the Master bedroom.
There is also a veranda at the rear of Cooks View overlooking the yard with laundry room off. Nearby Attractions: Historic Whitby Abbey.
