Property overview: A charming two bedroom loch side cottage set within the picturesque village of Kilmun, part of the Argyll National Forest. The building itself is a sympathetically restored dairy and still boasts many of the original features. Kilmun is an ideal base for many rural activities including walking, cycling and touring yet is only 4 miles from the Hunter’s Quay ferry terminal offering easy access across the Clyde.
Description of accommodation: Upon arrival you will be welcomed with a complimentary welcome pack of bread, butter, tea, coffee, sugar, milk and a bottle of wine.
On the first floor the main bedroom consists of a double bed with storage for clothes and bedside cabinet. The larger second bedroom consists of twin single beds which could easily form a king size bed if required. There is also ample storage space and bedside cabinets in this room. Both rooms are light and airy with velux windows. A spacious landing area could also provide additional sleeping if necessary. On the ground floor there is a stylishly furnished open plan living and dining area. The living area has sofas, TV, DVD player, CD player & radio and a large window looking on to the courtyard.
The spacious kitchen has all amenities including electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge and washing machine. There is a large breakfast bar with seating which separates the living room and kitchen areas. Cutlery and crockery are included.
The bathroom is bright and contains a fully fitted suite with a large mirror and ample storage space. There is a shower over the bath and a heated towel rail for your convenience. Towels are included. There is parking space and also a shed which can be used for storage of bicycles or muddy/wet walking boots and clothes etc.
