Property overview: The bungalow has been modified for ‘wheelchair use’ with a ramp to the front door, widened doors. There are low-level kitchen worktops and appliances and a ‘wet room’ shower. All of the internal doors are sliding, helping to increase accessibility. We also have various pieces of equipment available that can be used to tailor the property to your individual needs. For example, a ‘toilet raiser’ and ‘wheelchair commode’ are both available if needed and other items can be rented from a local company while you stay here. Description of accommodation:   Ducks Ditty is a purpose built holiday property with three bedrooms, sleeping a total of up to five people. The main bedroom is a double, while the second bedroom is a twin and the third, accessible via the second, is a small single, ideal for a child or possibly the travelling carer/assistant.Entry through the front door leads into the lounge area offering an upright two-seater sofa and two armchairs, a television (with Freeview box) and video. The adjoining kitchen and dining area includes a dining table capable of seating five people. The kitchen has a four ring electric hob, a low-level oven, a microwave oven, a refrigerator and several low-level storage cupboards for cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.Between the kitchen and shower room is a storage cupboard that includes the electricity meter (pound coins) and a washing-machine. The shower room is specially adapted for wheelchair use. It is entirely tiled and complete with a waterproof chair to be used when showering. There are grab-rails immediately next to the wash-basin, the toilet and the shower.Outside the bungalow is a small patio complete with garden furniture, ideal for a barbecue and evening drink. There are two parking spaces, both with easy access to the back door into the kitchen area. The bungalow shares a grassed area to the rear with a rotary washing line assigned to the property. Nearby Attractions: This bungalow is at Rosecraddoc Lodge, a purpose built holiday site comprising of fifty privately owned bungalows. Many of the properties are not available for letting and consequently this is a quiet location with the sounds of the narrow River Seaton creating a relaxing atmosphere. This is a 'getting away from it all' location, but many tourist attractions are within easy reach by car.
