This is a spacious home refitted so National Park visitors can live in comfort, privacy and warmth during their stay in this lovely part of the world.


Description of accommodation:

Situated on a paved square facing 19th century cottages to the front and a sweeping view of Kendal, its castle and the surrounding fells to the rear. No traffic passes through this quiet conservation area but we provide free permit for one car to use in parking areas at front or rear of property.

Kendal offers a different place to eat and drink each day and a good choice of shopping including the world class regional supermarket Booths renowned for its quality locally source food. Museums, an art gallery on the river, the thriving Brewery Arts Centre & Cinema, and street festivals are part of Kendal's varied cultural offering to residents and visitors.


Pricing Structure:

Prices based on bank transfers (i.e. using internet banking) Cheques/credit/debit cards accepted on basis of 5% admin charge.

Changeover day for weekly bookings Friday but flexible for late bookings  

One pet dog £25 by arrangement.

1GB dongle available for £10. 

25% booking deposit payable within 1 week of booking and balance to be paid 10 weeks before arrival. 

Cancellation charges 25% of balance for less than 10 weeks notice , 50% for less than 4 weeks, 90% for less than 1 week.

Breakage/loss deposit £70 payable which is returned by bank transfer on leaving the property
