Description of accommodation: Downstairs is the designer kitchen with granite tops, and integrated appliances (dishwasher, washer/dryer, fridge and freezer). The cooker has 5 hobs and a double oven with a pine table for you to dine. There is also a microwave and plenty of storage space, as well as an additional utility area. In the kitchen is dining for four. Upstairs is a large vaulted living room with original beams, Sky TV & DVD/CD player. There are also two bedrooms, each with a double bed and TV. The bathroom has under-floor heating, roll-top bath and wetroom/power shower. Bed linen, towels, dressing gowns, toiletries and welcome pack are all included. On arrival, you’ll find a bottle of wine in the wine cooler and the basic essentials – tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, olive oil & balsamic vinegar. Outside you are welcome to share the beer garden with Yanwath Gate Inn - this is South facing and gets the best of the sunshine.

The cottage is just three miles from the M6 and its nearest lake is Ullswater (4 miles) – a lake of sublime natural beauty against a backdrop of breathtaking mountain scenery. The cottage features bespoke kitchen, contemporary bathroom and spacious and comfortable bedrooms and living room. For catering in the cottage, Penrith and neighbouring villages offer farmers markets, farm shops and the award winning, Cranstons.
