Property overview: Kilcoy Chalets are set in wonderful countryside in the Scottish Highlands on The Black Isle, (not actually an island but a peninsula between The Cromarty Firth and The Moray Firth). The log cabins are ideally situated for touring the north and west coasts of Scotland, and are only 7 miles north-west of Inverness, capital of The Highlands. The chalets each sleep 2 persons only. Kilcoy Chalets are maintained personally by the owner who can always be called upon for any information you require to help you enjoy your break! Description of accommodation: These cosy log cabins, set in their own very well maintained garden, each have loungekitchendining area, one double bedroom, a toilet and a walk-in shower. The chalets are very well insulated, double glazed and fully controllable electric heating throughout. Electricity is via £1 coin operated meters. The lounge features two leather recliner chairs, dining table and chairs, tv, cd, dvd and the fully equipped kitchens each have washer-drier, fridge, electric oven and hob, microwave, iron and ironing board and all the necessary equipment required for a relaxing self catering holiday. Nearby Attractions: You can watch red kite and buzzards fly above the chalets on almost a daily basis! Woodpeckers, bluetits and finches also visit the bird feeder. Red squirrel, pine martens and deer can also be spotted in the local area - so please don't forget to bring your camera! Nearby attractions include "Nessie Spotting" at Loch Ness and romantic Urquhart Castle. Cawdor Castle, Dunrobin Castle, Fort George and Culloden Battlefield are all within a short drive of Kilcoy Chalets.
