Description of accommodation: This new luxury house is set in a small quiet private square just beyond the edge of the beautiful seaside town of Southwold (so no parking problems!), a few minutes drive or 15mins walk (on pavements) to the High Street. It will sleep 10 in full size beds plus cot. Not being immediately in Southwold means no parking problems as there is space for up to 4 cars (cars only). Southwold is a gem with boutiques, several high class delicatessens, a number of restaurants ranging from the good to the superb Swan Hotel, bookshops, coffee shops, an excellent fish shop and butchers and at the harbour, today’s catch for sale. Many pubs serve the wonderful Adnams beers, brewed in Southwold!
There is extensive beach, the restored pier, and nearby the complex at Snape Maltings and further beach (and crabbing!) at Walbeswick and a large number of walks including the coastal paths. There is plenty of local bird watching and Minsmere is easily accessible.
TWO ensuite double bedrooms (Kingsize beds, large showers and dressing area with fitted cupboards). The larger bedroom has a sitting area with a large sofa and coffee table, TV with freeview. The third and fourth bedrooms are twin bedded (3' wide beds), there is a further bedroom with 3' wide bunk beds (which can be split into two beds) and a further bathroom. All bedrooms have fitted cupboards with ample storage space.
The large upstairs landing has a further sitting area with a sofa and table, ideal for a quiet read or relax.
The kitchen diner is a large room with a luxury kitchen with range cooker with double oven, wok burner, griddle and warmer plate. Large fridge freezer and dishwasher. Multiyork table and chairs (different to photo). Double doors onto patio and into lounge.
Large lounge has two Multiyork leather sofas, door onto garden, 40" LCD HD TV with freeview and DVD. Sky cables from dish are provided if you bring your own box Large downstairs toilet.
One attached garage(accessed from garden), has been converted into a leisure room with seating, washing machine, 32" TV, the second has a table tennis table. An ideal escape area for the kids!
The large garden has a patio and a decking area with a 10 person table and chairs and table with bench seats. It looks out onto a wood. There is a large gas barbeque
Beach equipment (windbreak, two folding chairs, sand mats, freezer box) is available. Highchair a stair gate and a travel cot are available. There are lovely walks from the house, many ending up at the harbour. Nearby Attractions: Southwold is a gem of a town, immaculately kept.
