Description of accommodation: Recently redecorated and refurbished it has a wealth of character. On the ground floor is the kitchen with a lounge/dining area, which has a large inglenook-type fireplace with log-burning stove. There is an exposed stone wall with beamed ceilings, and an adjoining toilet / utility room. Upstairs there are one double (5’ pocket sprung mattress) with colour TV and one single bedroom, which can sleep up to three people (plus baby), with great views over the village, and there is a bathroom with bath and shower-over-bath.The cottage' kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooker, fridge with freezer compartment and a separate freezer. There is a microwave, tumble dryer, washing machine, and gas central heating. The cottage also has a 21” colour TV, Freeview Box with DAB digital radio, DVD player, CD/MP3 player with radio. There are many books, DVD films, music CDs and games provided. WiFi Internet available. There is a payphone and you can get mobile reception (depending upon your network). There is off-road parking directly outside the cottage for a car and further parking spaces are always available on the road outside the cottage. All linen (except for travel cot) and towels are provided free of charge. A travel cot and high chair can be provided at no extra cost. Bourton-on-the-Hill, located in the North of the Cotswolds, is ideally situated to act as your central base for visiting the many interesting places in the area from Warwick/Stratford-on-Avon to the North, Cheltenham & Bath to the South and the beauty spots of Broadway, Burford, Bourton-on-the-Water, Chipping Campden, Stow-on-the-Wold and "The Slaughters", to name just a few, are all nearby.
