Property overview:

Traditional Cumbrian Town House with many traditional features.  Sleeps 6+2.  Close to local amenities but has a secluded and peaceful location.


Description of accommodation:

The Manse is the old Sunday School property attached to a disused chapel in the heart of Penrith.  It has a magnificent large reception room that has an open fire and large dining area more than big enough for 8 guests. Leading from this room through french doors is the gallery room.  This room has a bedroom reached using stairs with double bed and storage space on a mezzanine level.  In the same room on the ground floor is a newly refurbished shower room and toilet.  Also there is a double futon for additional guests.  Upstairs from the main reception room are two large double bedrooms tastefully furnished each with double beds, wardrobes and drawer space.  There is a bathroom upstairs also with an over bath shower, toilet and basin.Downstairs in the property is a large kitchen with double electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge and coffee machine.  The kitchen is well stocked with cutlery, crockery and all other essentials for an enjoyable holiday. Outside the kitchen is an enclosed courtyard with BBQ and picnic table.


Nearby Attractions:

Penrith is a busy market town boasting many fine restaurants and pubs all within easy walking distance of the house.  There are also lots of speciality shops aswell as the usual supermarkets.  Penrith has an excellent leisure centre including a climbing wall and there is also a small cinema.
