Property overview: This former haybarn built in the mid 1700's underwent full restoration over the past 3 years and is now a luxurious getaway.  Situated in the small village of Trefin, midway between St Davids and Fishguard, with the coast path on your doorstep, The Barn offers much more than a standard holiday cottage.
Description of accommodation: The Barn is set out over 2 floors.  Downstairs is a well equipped fully integrated kitchen with electric fan oven, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge just about all you would want.  Down one step leads you into the large dining room with an 8 seater table.  This is perfect if you are renting either Shicley or Morawel Cottage with friends or family.  The dining room leads into the large lounge area which has 2 full recliner leather sofas and an armchair, LCD TV with Freeview and a DVD player.  A selection of DVD's are stored in the TV cabinet.  Underfloor heating makes this accommodation incredibly comfortable throughout the year.Within and above a section of the lounge is a crog loft which has two single beds and is accessed by a stowable ladder.  Due to the low ceiling height this room is really only suited to under 10'sThe master bedroom and en-suite bathroom are both upstairs.  The spiral staircase is in the dining room but additionally there is an external stone and slate staircase which leads into the bedroom.  There is a wall mounted LCD TV again with Freeview.  This room makes use of the full height window to the front elevation and the galleried balcony overlooks the dining area.  The bathroom has a extra large bath with shower over, WC and basin.
Nearby Attractions: Pembrokeshire is crammed with things to do, whether relaxing on the beaches, canoeing or surfing, rockclimbing or mountain biking.  More leisurely activities include visiting the cathedral in nearby St Davids or walking the coastal path.  There is Oakwood theme park within approx. 15-20 miles and countless tourist attractions and visitor centres if the weather lets you down.
