Property overview: The three pretty stone cottages at Trevosper Barn are perfectly placed for those who want a quiet, relaxing base in which to explore Cornwall and Devon. Our cottages are in a secluded rural location off a single track lane yet offer great access to the main trunk roads in Cornwall (A30 and A39). The cottages are traditional in style but have been fully modernised inside. They are rated 4 star and 3 star. We are very family friendly and can provide travel cots, high chairs and stairgates along with baby baths and even a potty if needed! We also welcome well behaved family pets and provide information on nearby dog friendly pubs and attractions. Also included in your cottage is a full information file on many of Cornwall's fantastic attractions, our local pubs and restaurants, beaches and walks to help you plan your holiday once you get here.
Description of accommodation: The three cottages sleep up to 4 guests each, and one of the cottages has a sofa bed in the front room so could accommodate 5 guests if need be. Each cottage has a kitchen / dining area, seperate lounge, 2 bedrooms - 1 double and 1 with full size bunk beds and a well equipped bathroom. The south facing gardens are beautiful and have a good sized summer house, generous paved area with pergola, BBQ and plenty of garden furniture, and a large fenced koi carp pond. Two cottages have their own washing machines along with a fully equipped laundry room containing a third washing machine and tumble drier.
Nearby Attractions: The cottages are surrounded by an excellent range of tourist facilities with Trethorne Leisure Park & Golf Club, Tamar Otter Sanctuary, New Mills Farm Park, Launceston Steam Railway and the Hidden Valley Theme Park all within a 5 mile radius. We have excellent links with the rest of Cornwall via the A30 which provides good access to other popular attractions such as The Eden Project, Lanhydrock, Newquay, Padstow, Boscastle, Tintagel and Bude. We are 5 miles from Launceston which has supermarkets (one is 24hr) and a good range of shops. Our nearest pub is only 2 miles away and serves excellent home cooked food. It also has a pick up and drop off service.
