How to get started - some additional instructions

2. Start making your advert on his site - to get the best out of it here are some tips:
3. Log in and go to ADMIN - click here. It will open in a new page so that you can keep referring back to this page as a guide.
4. Now click on 'ADD LISTING' - (please note this page will time out after half an hour. Make sure you hit the save button at the bottom before this time elapses. You can go back and edit your work at any time.)
   

• Property's Name - please only enter the name of your cottage here. Do not alter this once you have created the advert or this may adversely affect your search engine position. Please do not jam keywords into the name!
• Property description - please ensure that all descriptions are in unique wording, so that your listing is not ignored by search engines as "Duplicate Content".
  You can do the design and layout on Microsoft Word, then copy 'n' paste it in.
• Special offers - there is a tick box to indicate if you are running a special or last minute discount etc. Give details of the offer in the next box.
  Specials are searchable and this will help your property to be found.
• If you have a booking calendar showing availability please add the URL of the calendar page. Please provide a booking calendar link. If you do not have one - Get one for free at www.dateblocker.com and enter the link which they give you. (Any problems email me)
  
• Features - if your property doesn't have WIFI please get it, because people like myself like to climb Helvellyn in the morning and work online and drink beer in the afternoon.
• PHOTOS -- After typing your advert and pressing submit at the bottom, it is photo time!
  If you have a webpage already: just copy these photos onto here.
  The simplest way to do this is to right-click on an image and click "save image as"
  ---Save the photos onto your desktop and then just follow the upload instructions - dead obvious!
• Try to upload up to 7 of your best images, with a good external shot as the first picture. Make sure the sun is shining and the plants are flowering!
